On August 19, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred near the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana. The victim, identified by the Marion County Coroner's Office as 47-year-old Sunny Dwayne Gilbert, was found shot in the 3800 block of Hillside Avenue, close to the intersection of 38th Street and North Keystone Avenue.
