In the late hours of a Friday evening in Gary, Indiana, the life of 31-year-old Christopher Jordan, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On September 1, 2023, at approximately 10:30 PM, the sound of gunfire pierced the night, prompting calls to the Gary Police Department about a man down in an alley.
