In the winter of 2023, the life of William James Boo Pope Dove, a 31-year-old Black/African American man from Gary, Indiana, was tragically cut short. On the evening of January 25th, he was fell victim to gun violence in his hometown. Despite being rushed to the hospital and fighting for his life for four days, he succumbed to his injuries on January 29, 2023.
