George Heath, aged 55, from Gary, Indiana, passed away on March 11, 2019. His death was ruled a homicide by the Lake County coroner’s office. Heath was found with a gunshot wound at his home on the 3100 block of West 22nd Avenue in Gary. The coroner's office was called shortly before 5:45 p.m., and Heath was declared dead at 6:40 p.m. The Gary police, along with the Lake County Sheriff’s Crime Scenes Investigations unit and the Lake County/Gary Metro Homicide Unit, responded to the scene. ...Read More
