Her friends and family remember her as a loving individual who enjoyed crafting, sending cards, and spending quality time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren.
On the evening of her death, police were dispatched to her residence on Park Place for a welfare check after a concerned individual was unable to get in touch with her. Upon entering the home, officers discovered both Jill and her 61-year-old husband, John Evans, deceased. The preliminary investigation led authorities to believe that the incident was a murder-suicide. It is suspected that John Evans shot his wife before taking his own life.
