Lashonda Denise Eldridge, a 23-year-old mother from Fort Wayne, Indiana, tragically lost her life on August 20, 2019. Eldridge, affectionately known as "Cookie," was shot while inside her vehicle on South Anthony Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. that evening. Her two young children, aged 5 and 2, were also in the car at the time of the shooting but fortunately only sustained minor injuries from broken glass.
