In the quiet town of Monticello, Indiana, the life of 30-year-old Cayla Lynn Moore was tragically cut short on the evening of Sunday, August 7, 2022. Emergency services were dispatched to the 4400 block of N. West Shafer Drive at approximately 7:17 p.m. following two 911 calls reporting a shooting. Upon arrival, law enforcement found Moore wounded. She was quickly transported to a local hospital, but tragically, she was pronounced dead from her injuries.
