In the late morning hours of a Tuesday in August 2014, a tragic event unfolded in the parking lot of the Jordan Manufacturing Company in Monticello, Indiana, leaving three people dead in what authorities would later describe as a murder-suicide. Among the victims was Monica Gonzalez, a 43-year-old woman, who was fatally shot alongside her companion, 42-year-old Agustin Oliver-Vital.
