A fifteen-year-old male, Devin Gilbert III, was fatally shot in Indianapolis on the afternoon of November 3, 2023. A student at KIPP Indy Legacy High School, Devin was walking home from school shortly before 1 p.m. when the incident occurred in the school's parking lot located in the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood.
