On January 12, 2023, Shawn Matthew Barnett, a 23-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was found dead along with another individual, Larry Moorman, 50, in a shooting incident on the east side of Indianapolis. The incident occurred in the 200 block of North Walcott Street, where officers responded to a report of a person shot around noon.
