In the winter of 2024, the life of 23-year-old James Tyler Stewart was cut short in South Bend, Indiana. On the first of February, he was discovered in a car near the intersection of Brookfield Street and Fassnacht Avenue, having been shot multiple times.

Authorities launched an investigation into the shooting that led to the arrests of three men. Marshawn Johnson, 23, Demarko Robinson, 23, and Jamir Johnson, 20, were all charged in connection with Stewart's death. While Robinson and Jami ...
