On May 11, 2024, Marcus Wayne McGlaughlin, a 23-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was found dead due to a shooting incident. The incident occurred on the city's southeast side, specifically in the 8300 block of Siear Drive. Police officers responded to a report of a person down around 1:30 a.m. and upon arrival, they found McGlaughlin who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
