Death by Force

Darrell Hoagland, a 47-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was found dead on June 1, 2021. His body was discovered in the backyard of a vacant property on Carson Avenue, near South Keystone Avenue and East Hanna Avenue. The Marion County Coroner's Office determined that Hoagland had been shot to death. The investigation revealed that his body was wrapped in a blanket tied with rope and was in an advanced state of decomposition, covered in insect larvae.
