Death by Force

On the morning of August 7, 2024, 27-year-old Hispanic male Jesus M. Campos was fatally shot in Gary, Indiana. At approximately 9:17 a.m., police responded to a call at the 2200 block of Connecticut Street, where they discovered Campos lying on the front lawn with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Campos, a resident of Lake Station, Indiana, was identified by his family at the location.
