Jonquell Golida, a 23-year-old Black male, was killed on the night of November 12, 2016, in the Glen Park section of Gary, Indiana. Around 9:30 p.m., Golida and his friend, Timothy Fryerson, were walking home after purchasing items from a gas station located at the intersection of 49th Avenue and Broadway.
