On a late summer evening in Indianapolis, the life of 22-year-old Jaishawn Darell Johnson was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire that also claimed the life of a 3-year-old boy, Armonie Booker. The shooting occurred on August 26, 2024, in the parking lot of a strip mall on Shadeland Avenue. Johnson and young Armonie were found inside a car with gunshot wounds.
