On a Wednesday afternoon in Indianapolis, the life of 40-year-old Craig Esmon Jacobs, a White / Caucasian male, was abruptly ended. On September 4, 2024, police were called to the 30 block of North Gray Street, near the intersection with East Washington Street, to find Jacobs suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency medical personnel who arrived at the scene, he was pronounced dead.
