In the late summer of 2024, a 33-year-old mother named Maria Xi vanished from her home in Culpeper, Virginia. On September 1st, she and her daughter were picked up from their residence. It was on this day that Maria made a phone call to a friend, stating her intention to leave and relocate to another state.
