In the pre-dawn hours of an early autumn Saturday in Indianapolis, officers were dispatched to what was reported as a loud party on Scarlet Drive. The call, which came in just before 3 a.m. on October 12, 2024, led them to a grim discovery that would alter the course of the morning. Upon their arrival in the residential area near West 34th Street and Moller Road, they were met by an individual who urgently flagged them down, directing them to a man who had been shot.
