In the spring of 2018, the life of 17-year-old Daymarko Tolefree was tragically cut short on the east side of Indianapolis. On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 8th, police responded to a report of a person down and discovered the young Black male inside a car in the 1100 block of North Tecumseh Street. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
