In the autumn of 2021, the life of 22-year-old Michael James was tragically cut short in Indianapolis. On the evening of October 12th, an off-duty police officer working security at a construction site made a grim discovery in a grassy area near South Meridian Street and West Hanna Avenue. The bodies of Michael James and two other young men, Abdulla Mubarak, 17, and Joseph Thomas, 18, were found, all having been fatally shot.
