In the early morning hours of June 16, 2013, the festive atmosphere of a high school graduation party on the northwest side of Indianapolis took a tragic and violent turn. Tony Muse, a 21-year-old African-American man, was in a parking lot near Lafayette Square Mall when a dispute escalated into a physical altercation.
