In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Indianapolis, the life of Christian 'Raven' Alecsander Holly, a 24-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On October 27, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the near east side of the city following a report of a man down.
They discovered Holly in an alley near the intersection of East Brookside Avenue and North Oxford Street, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene but were unable to save him; Christian Holly was pronounced dead in the alley. The Marion County Coroner's Office later officially ruled his death a homicide, confirming he died from his injuries.
