Leticia Zaragoza, a 45-year-old woman, was found shot to death inside an apartment in Chicago's South Loop on January 9, 2023. Police discovered her around 3 p.m. in the 2000 block of South Indiana Avenue after a window of time in which the shooting is believed to have occurred between Sunday afternoon and Monday afternoon. She had multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Nearby, 36-year-old Joseph P. Fry was also found dead with a gunshot wound to the head.
