Cedrick "Ced" Lamon Edwards Sr., a 49-year-old businessman from Locust Grove, Georgia, was shot multiple times outside his business on Flint Trail in Jonesboro on January 19, 2023. He sustained gunshot wounds to his neck and hand. After months of hospitalization, Edwards succumbed to his injuries on August 23, 2023.
