On June 4, 2023, Terrell Douglas, a 28-year-old man from Jonesboro, Georgia, was fatally shot outside an apartment complex in the 1200 block of Southlake Cove Court. The incident occurred when Douglas was visiting his girlfriend at the Southlake Cove Apartments.
