On June 4, 2023, Terrell Douglas, a 28-year-old man from Jonesboro, Georgia, was fatally shot outside an apartment complex in the 1200 block of Southlake Cove Court. The incident occurred when Douglas was visiting his girlfriend at the Southlake Cove Apartments.

According to the Clayton County Police Department, Douglas and Jova'a Jackson, a 31-year-old former Rockdale County Sheriff's deputy, were in a romantic relationship, and Jackson was pregnant with Douglas's child. On the evening ...Read More
