In the late winter of 2023, a tragedy struck in Columbus, Georgia, forever altering the lives of a local family. On the afternoon of Sunday, February 19th, amidst what should have been a peaceful weekend, violence erupted in the 5200 block of Village Way. It was there that 15-year-old Leonardo Kentrell Luke, a young Black male known to his loved ones as 'Kent,' was found lying in a driveway, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
