On February 19, 2023, 15-year-old Leonardo "Kent" Luke tragically lost his life in a shooting incident in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. in the 5200 block of Village Way, off St. Mary's Road. Leonardo was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Ben Saxon was summoned to the hospital to work the death.
