Devonte Owens, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 25, 2019, in Columbus, Georgia. Devonte was shot and killed at the Parkway Place Apartments on Farr Road. The incident occurred on Christmas night, and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:10 p.m. The Columbus Police Department received multiple calls reporting the shooting, and upon arrival, they found Devonte already deceased.
