Ronnie Brooks Jr., a 24-year-old African American male from Columbus, GA, tragically passed away on February 15, 2019. His death was the result of a gunshot wound sustained on February 8, 2019. On that day, Columbus Police were dispatched to the Piedmont Midtown Medical Center emergency room, where they found Brooks suffering from the injury.
