In the late summer of 2017, the life of James Francesconi, a 26-year-old man known to his friends as 'Cali Longway,' was cut short. On August 17, 2017, Francesconi was fatally shot in his home on Wickam Drive in Columbus, Georgia. He was rushed to the Midtown Medical Center, but succumbed to his injuries.
