Richard Watson, a 60-year-old African American man from Columbus, Georgia, was tragically killed on April 26, 2020. The incident occurred early in the morning near Cusseta Road and 27th Avenue. According to reports, Watson was shot to death after he intervened in a domestic dispute involving Frankie Marquell Walker. The Columbus 911 Center received a call around 4:35 a.m., and upon arrival, police found Watson deceased in his car.
