Ossie Lee Turner, a 61-year-old resident of Atlanta, Georgia, lost his life to gun violence on April 14, 2023. The incident occurred in the evening when Atlanta Police Department officers received a call around 10:15 p.m. regarding a person being shot at 1060 Oak St. in southwest Atlanta, an area that includes a group of apartment complexes near West Inn Park.
