Death by Force

Tyriq Scales, a 19-year-old African American male from Atlanta, GA, tragically lost his life on August 10, 2020. Tyriq was attending a house party in northwest Atlanta when the incident occurred. The party, held at a residence on Norris Place, turned deadly when gunfire erupted. Officers responding to the scene around 12:30 a.m. found Tyriq's body in the front yard of the home.
