In the summer of 2023, the life of a Columbus, Georgia man was tragically cut short in an act of violence that continues to baffle investigators. Scottie Lee Harris, a 53-year-old male, was found deceased on Monday, July 24, 2023, in the vicinity of the 3600 block of Surrey Lane. An obituary described him as 'Lucky' and noted he was a father and grandfather.
