Darius Devon Dugger, a 46-year-old resident of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was fatally shot on September 13, 2023, in the parking lot of a Red Lobster restaurant located at 2131 Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Duluth, Georgia. The incident occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m. when officers from the Gwinnett County Police Department were dispatched to a "Person Shot" call. A witness in the parking lot reported that the driver of a blue Chevrolet pickup truck appeared deceased.
