In the early hours of a September morning in Augusta, Georgia, the life of 33-year-old Dwayne Anthony Tillman II was tragically cut short. On September 15, 2023, in the 2800 block of Fairmount Street, an incident of gun violence unfolded that would leave a community in mourning. Around 12:30 a.m., deputies from the Richmond County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting.
