Death by Force

Walter Smith, a 28-year-old resident of Augusta, Georgia, was fatally shot on July 15, 2023. The incident occurred on the 2100 block of Lumpkin Road, where Smith also lived. According to Coroner Mark Bowen, Smith was shot at least once and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:59 p.m..
