In the late summer of 2016, the life of a young African-American woman, Tayla Henry, age 27, was tragically cut short in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On the evening of September 10th, police were called to a grim discovery in a garage in the 3400 block of N. 1st St. Inside, they found Tayla's body. The scene was one of unmistakable violence; she had sustained injuries to her head, and her body had been set on fire.
