Quincy Clay Fields, a 41-year-old man, was fatally shot on the afternoon of January 8, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Broad Street, near the Richmond Summit Apartments. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 3:23 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Fields suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Wellstar MCG Health, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 4 p.m.
