On June 1, 2023, 15-year-old Jordan Gaynor of Augusta, Georgia, was fatally shot outside a convenience store, marking a tragic and violent incident in the community.
The shooting occurred at the Get-N-Go located at 2350 Windsor Spring Road. Gaynor was standing next to two friends when multiple shots were fired by the suspects. Although the friends were missed, Gaynor was struck in the upper body and killed.
