On October 24, 2003, 63-year-old Chester William Cavaliere was among four individuals fatally shot at the Stateline Bar in Oldtown, Idaho. The assailant, 53-year-old Ralph Roland Reeves, entered the establishment around 3:30 p.m. and opened fire with a semiautomatic handgun, reloading at least once during the attack. The victims included Cavaliere, Henry Shumake (63), Tiki Danielle Wiese (41), and her former father-in-law, Leroy Wiese (84).
