On a tragic Friday afternoon, October 24, 2003, the small community of Oldtown, Idaho, was shattered by a violent outburst that claimed the life of 63-year-old Chester William Cavaliere. A male patron at the Stateline Bar, Cavaliere was one of four people fatally shot when a gunman opened fire inside the establishment around 3:30 p.m. The tranquility of the day was irrevocably broken by a man who would later be identified as 53-year-old Ralph Roland Reeves.
