Leroy Glen Wiese, an 84-year-old resident of Oldtown, Idaho, was found dead in his home on October 24, 2003. His death was ruled a homicide, marking the first murder in the town in over 20 years.

The Bonner County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at Wiese's residence where they discovered his body. An autopsy revealed that he had died from blunt force trauma to the head.
