On December 14, 2024, U.S. Army Sergeant Andre S. Stewart Jr., aged 28, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident at Fort Eisenhower in Augusta, Georgia. Sergeant Stewart, a dedicated soldier who enlisted in 2019 and transitioned to the U.S. Army Reserve in 2023, was serving as a human resource specialist and was a member of the 400th Military Police Brigade at Fort Meade, Maryland.
