Khalil Baker, a 23-year-old African American male from Augusta, GA, was tragically shot and killed on December 1, 2021. The incident occurred on Richmond Hill Road West, where Baker resided. According to reports, he was shot at least once on the block where he lived and was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:35 a.m. The coroner, Mark Bowen, confirmed that an autopsy would be conducted at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Lab to determine the exact cause of death.
