In the winter of 2020, the life of 34-year-old Asian man, Jak Yiek Mun, was tragically cut short in what police have described as a homicide. On the evening of Friday, December 11, 2020, Mun was fatally shot in the Salt Lake City suburb of Murray, Utah.
