On November 21, 2024, at approximately 6:50 p.m., 28-year-old Dahir Omar Dahir was fatally shot near the intersection of 10th Street and 1st Avenue Southeast in Rochester, Minnesota. Responding to reports of gunfire, Rochester Police officers arrived to find Dahir unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
