In the late afternoon of February 3, 2024, the life of Rodrigus Hull, a 40-year-old Black male from Decatur, Georgia, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded in the parking lot of an apartment complex located at 2933 Panthersville Road. It was there, just before 5 p.m., that the sound of gunfire shattered the day's calm. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Mr. Hull with a fatal gunshot wound.
The DeKalb County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed Rodrigus Hull as the victim. The investigation into his death was immediately launched by law enforcement, who began the arduous process of piecing together the events that led to the shooting. As of the latest available information, the investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not publicly identified any suspects in the case.
