On August 12, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in DeKalb County, Georgia, resulting in the deaths of two brothers, Broderick Shovely III, 21, and Santino Shovely, 17.
The brothers were found with fatal gunshot wounds in the basement of a home located in the 3900 block of Emerald Lake Drive in the Emerald Estates neighborhood, off Snapfinger Road and near Canby Lane Elementary School.
