Royce Cross, a 40-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on November 24, 2022, in Decatur, Georgia. The incident occurred on Thanksgiving Day, when Cross was found with a gunshot wound in the middle of a parking lot at 11:37 a.m. DeKalb County Police reported that Cross had been involved in an exchange of gunfire with another individual before he was injured.
