Grady Jenkins, a 64-year-old African American man from Decatur, GA, tragically lost his life on June 10, 2018. Jenkins had offered a DeKalb County teenager a job doing yard work at his residence. However, upon arriving at Jenkins' home, the teenager pulled out a gun and shot Jenkins in the stomach. Despite being critically injured, Jenkins managed to survive long enough to inform the police about the incident.
